Google too has a humane end. Hence google has provided GOOGLE’S SEARCH CONSOLE (GOOGLE WEB MASTER TOOLS), where we can manually submit out web pages and request for indexing. Wow! How awesome is it? Google has given a remarkable power to you which has a potential to increase your web traffic in heaps and bounds. Follow these simple steps to request your web pages for indexing and increase your web traffic:
How does Google know about our web pages?
Search engines use specific algorithms or software
called Google Bots. These Google bots regularly search for new web pages or
recently modified web pages, analyze their web traffic and authenticity. This
is called “Crawling”. They analyze each and every web page based on specific
criteria and rank them. If your web page is crawled by Google’s Bot then they
slowly analyze your web page and then store the web page’s information with
them. This is called “indexation”. So when a person searches with some key
words related to your web page information, then Google will show your web page
link as one of the results along with many other similar indexed pages. For
example, if I have a web page with information about “BEST SHOES AVAILABLE AT
CHEAPER PRICES”. If someone Googles with key words ”best shoes for me”, then
google will show one of your web page on BEST SHOES as search result. As a
result you will have an increased traffic to your web site or blog.

Are all my pages indexed?
No! it depends on your web site’s complexity, and also
the Robot.txt files that are linked to your web site. The more complex the web
site design is, more is the chance that Google bot fails in crawling all the
web pages. Because some web pages may not be present as direct links on your
web site. Hence simple web sites with neat flow wire-frame are good for fast
indexing. In such cases you may miss the chance of being indexed in Google
search results. This may have a big impact on your Web site’s SEARCH ENGINE
RANKINGS ON GOOGLE.
In such case ,what is the best solution?
Don’t worry. Google too has a humane end. Hence google
has provided GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE (GOOGLE WEB MASTER TOOLS), where we can manually submit out web
pages and request for indexing. Wow! How awesome is it? Google has given a remarkable
power to you which has a potential to increase your web traffic in heaps and
bounds. Follow these simple steps to request your web pages for indexing and
increase your web traffic:

STEP 1:
Open Google search console with your registered mail
id. Or register for a new account using your mail id. In the dash board on top left corner there is a drop
down menu which provides links to all your websites. That is, if you have 2 or
more web sites you can select the web site you want to review from the drop
down menu (RED ARROW).
NOTE: Before these steps your web site "site map" has to be registered with google search console.
STEP 2:
Click on the “Coverage”
section on left side menu. After selecting the web site, in the dash board you
can see the status of all your web pages of the website respectively in 2
blocks. Google search console provides information on web pages that are
currently indexed (valid) and not
indexed (excluded) in the middle
section of it (BLUE ARROW in above picture). In my
website I have 5 web pages that were excluded.
STEP 3:
Scroll down to see the reason for non-indexing of web
pages. Click on any of the reason to see the information in detail. I clicked
on “Discovered-currently not indexed” link to see further details.
STEP 4:
Now web page is redirected to the 4 urls that were not
indexed (in my situation). Scroll down to the list of urls that were not
indexed. Drag the mouse over the web page links, where we can see 2 options. The
first option (red arrow) will
redirect to the web page link. The second option (green arrow) will provide
detailed information whether the web page is indexed or not. Hence click the
second option.
STEP 5:
After clicking the second option google console redirects
to a web page which declares whether the web page is indexed or not. In the
picture you can see that the web page is not indexed. Hence we can see an
option “Request indexing” in middle right corner of the web page below “URL is
not on google” [GREEN ARROW]. Click on Request indexing
STEP 6:
The requested url will be submitted to priority crawl
queue and will have more chance to be indexed in google search results.
Follow these 6 steps to make most of your web pages indexed in google search results and increase your web traffic. This can optimize search engines (SEO) to rank better in google rankings. IN MY NEXT POST I AM GOING TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON EASY CHECKING OF GOOGLE INDEXATION STATUS OF YOUR INDIVIDUAL WEB PAGES. So stay tuned....
